About Play Mind Sports

An independent platform for discovering mind-sport events — built for players, not federations

Our mission

Play Mind Sports exists to make it easier for anyone — beginner or expert — to find and attend mind-sport events. Chess, Scrabble, Go, bridge, mahjong, puzzles and more: all in one place, searchable by sport, location, date and level.

Mind sports are played by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, but event discovery is fragmented. Each sport has its own federation websites, club pages and social groups. We're building the single place where players can find everything.

We are independent. We are not affiliated with any governing body, federation, or commercial sponsor. Every event gets equal visibility — from a weekly club night to a world championship.

What we stand for

1

Independent

Not affiliated with any federation, governing body, or commercial partner. We serve players, not institutions.

2

Inclusive

Mind sports are for everyone. We list events for all ages, all levels, and all sports — not just the big ones.

3

Neutral

We don't take sides in disputes between federations, rule sets, or governing bodies. We list events, not opinions.

4

Open

Listing is free. We don't charge organizers, take commission, or require registration to browse events.

Why we built this

Play Mind Sports was built by a group of mind-sport players who were frustrated by how hard it was to find events. Chess players knew about chess sites. Go players knew about Go sites. But nobody was bringing it all together. We decided to fix that.

Independence disclaimer

Play Mind Sports is an independent event discovery platform. We are not affiliated with FIDE, WESPA, the IGF, the WBF, the EMA, the WXF, the WCDF, the WPF, or any other governing body or federation. Event listings are provided for informational purposes. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for individual events.
